Green told the BBC: “I can’t wait to be part of such an amazing event. Hackney is a great place, so events like this and the Olympics will help show case the borough in a positive light.”
Other acts confirmed for the weekend event include Chase and Status, David Guetta, Jack White and current singer du jour Lana Del Rey, with previous acts already confirmed including Plan B, Tini Tempah, Deadmau5, Florence & The Machine.
BBC Radio One’s Hackney Weekend 2012 will take place at Hackney Marshes on the 23 and 24 June, with acts spread across six stages.
