A packed out Murrayfield watched the home side take the 2nd win of the campaign, becoming only the second team to beat Eddie Jones’ England in his 26th game in charge.

The damage for England was done in the first half, as Scotland run in 22 points to blitz a shellshocked England side. Early penalties for either side got the scoreboard moving, before Scotland hit the try line. A composed kick found Huw Jones who managed to hold and get over the line.

Farrell’s kicking was the only thing keeping England in the match, but no sooner had he kicked his second score, Scotland went over again, as another attack brought Sean Maitland over the line.

England’s response in the second half was frantic, but aside from Farrell going over, Scotland held firm, and when Underhill was binned for England the game was up, as Gregor Townsend’s side celebrated a huge win.
