Rupert Murdoch has defended his company, arguing that it only made "minor mistakes".

Rupert Murdoch and his son James will be forced to face questions in parliament next week.
Murdoch shut down his biggest selling UK paper News of the World last Sunday in a bid to contain the spiralling crisis which included allegations that investigators employed by the paper hacked thousands of peoples phones, including that of murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler and victims of the 7/7 bombings. There were also allegations that the paper had paid police for sensitive information. The mogul was also forced to withdraw his bid for broadcaster BSkyB yesterday.
Although News Of The World closed last Sunday, Murdoch says he plans to keep his other titles going, including The Sun, The Times and The Sunday Times. He said that reports of the titles closing were "pure rubbish".
