RANDY: Sweet! Let’s prey on the expat homesickness and promise heaps of stuff we can’t deliver.

SJ: Like what?

R: Like, we can say that our stage constructed made entirely out of Tim Tams.

SJ: Nice one.

R: And that Alf Stewart will be making a cameo.

SJ: What if we tell them we’ll be accompanied live on stage by Powderfinger?

R: We will DEFINITELY be accompanied live on stage by Powderfinger.

SJ: And they won’t have any trouble finding the venue, because it’s shaped like a giant version of Molly Meldrum’s hat.

R: And the ushers will all be wearing “Life Be In It” T-shirts from the 1980s.

SJ: And we’ll finish the show with an emotional rendition of “True Blue”.

R: What’s that?

SJ: It’s the one that John Williamson sang at Steve Irwin’s funeral.

R: I’m tearing up just thinking about it.

SJ: And, at the end of the show, the whole venue is going to blast off and return to Australia.

R: Man. This show sounds awesome! Where can I get a ticket?

SJ: You don’t need one. You’re in it.

R: Shit yeah! This day just keeps getting better.

RANDY PUTS ON A PAIR OF SUNGLASSES, HOPS ON A MOPED, AND BLASTS OFF INTO THE SUNSET.

Sammy J and Randy will be at the Just for Laughs Festival, Russell Square, 20-23 July.
