After choosing to report the day’s events in politics in front of Big Ben, he inevitably should have been prepared for its regular chiming every quarter of an hour. Apparently not, as the notorious clock began to chime midway through his report.
He responded by muttering “Oh, fucking hell”, and furiously glaring at the clock.
The outbreak was broadcasted to the nation last night on Sky News during Craig’s report on David Cameron’s recent visit to Brussels, meeting with the European Union leaders. The clip was then stopped short, quickly cutting back to the studio where newsreader Lukwesa Burak apologised.
It was later highlighted that the Sky producers had aired the incorrect pre-recorded clip. The rightful full report, thankfully minus the swearing, was later transmitted.
