This month is a festive one for Sydney, and without these sort of events we’d probably forget that it was Christmas at all. There are a few places in town that will be just a tad more seasonal than others, so go check them out!

It’s tough bashing out a rendition of ‘silent night’ with the humidity playing hell with your vocal chords (any excuse). The solution? Every night between 6 and 8pm until Christmas Eve, you can listen to the choir singing at Martin Place under the tree. Save your voice, poor dear.

Town Hall will be ablaze after dark for this month, with the kind of spectacles usually saved for Vivid on show. If you weren’t here for winter you’ll have missed the postcard perfect shots of Sydney buildings alive with projections, so here’s your second chance.

Head inside on Tuesday 16th December for the ever-popular Christmas at Sydney Town Hall concert if you’re truly dedicated to the Christmas spirit. With the Grand Organ and sandstone architecture, you might forget you’re in a sub-tropical region for a few moments. Bookings are a must.
