An army of tarantulas may be on the rampage after two 10cm Chilean rose spiders, which are capable of blinding people, were found a few miles apart in Bolton.
Experts suggest that there may be more tarantulas on the loose and the RSPCA has warned people to be careful.
Not to be dramatic or anything, but apparently the tarantula spiders can blind you by shedding hairs in your eyes. Yikes.
One of the spiders found in Bolton was taken to Bugworld in Liverpool, where Corrie fans have named it Rosie Webster – as it was “a man-eater from Bolton”.
