Terminator actress Linda Hamilton offered to take a Marine to the ball after he was turned down by Betty White.

Earlier this month, Friends with Benefits stars Mila Kunis and Justing Timberlake accepted YouTube invitations to take two Marines to the Marine Corps Ball. However, Kunis later backed out, saying she was busy with work.

Meanwhile, Sgt Ray Lewis invited 90-year-old White to the ball, but White said she couldn't attend because she would be recording her sitcom "Hot in Cleveland".

Apparently Terminator star Linda Hamilton was so upset over White turning down Lewis' invitation that she offered to go in her place on her very own YouTube video.

"Betty called and I talked to her for hours and I know she feels terrible," Hamilton says in the video. "So I just decided that I would try to reach out to you and say, 'Look, I know that I am no Betty White, but I would be really, really thrilled if you can't find anything else, and I know that it's unlikely, but if you can't find anybody else to go to the ball with you I could go.'"

Lewis responded to the invite by writing "You are amazing" on Hamilton's video on YouTube.
