PC Air, a charter airline that will fly routes across Asia, received more than 100 job applications from transvestites and transsexuals.

Four of the glam applicants made the cut, alongside 19 female and 7 male flight attendants.

PC Air said that the interview process treated the ladyboys as though they were female applicants, with the added condition that they walk and talk like women, using a feminine voice.

Ladyboys are most commonly employed in cosmetic shops and health stores in Thailand, according to the Daily Mail.

However, they are not officially recognised as women and their ID cards will state ‘male’.
