THANKSGIVING
The Yanks just might love Thanksgiving even more than Christmas. Despite the dubiousness of Americans thanking the aboriginal people who helped them settle in – seeing as those indigenous communities were then unceremoniously trampled to make way for whitey – it’s a time of national pride. The biggest patriotic parade takes place in Manhattan, attracting more than two million spectators.
