The scene: With distressed wooden tables, mismatched chairs and quirky art on
the walls, this is a classic neighbourhood boozer dressed in gastropub clothing. The added bonus of a cracking beer garden out the front makes it a super pub for
a sunny day.

The grub: Reliable mains, sharing plates and lighter options too – I can’t go past the fish finger sarnie. There’s also a regular barbie set up
in the beer garden during
the summer.

Behind the bar: Extensive range of draught beers and ciders, there’s also a great wine selection plus jugs of Pimm’s and sangria during
the summer.

Bill please: Light lunch
and a glass of wine for
under a tenner.
verdict Nab a seat outside in the sunshine and you’ll quickly find you’re in pub lunch heaven.
