Most people would say the Pyramids, but I really like the Citadel because you are in the heart of Cairo and you can see all the madness of this big city.

Any safety tips for travellers?

Check FCO advice, but otherwise just take usual travel precautions. On the whole, Egypt is a safe, friendly place.

Best travelling memory in Egypt?

I love introducing travellers to the sound and light show at Philae Temple, Aswan, where ancient history meets modern technology.
