The Terrace, Wimbledon – bar review

The scene: As the name implies, this little Wimbledon gem has lovely outdoor terrace space, perfect for enjoying cocktails and balmy summer nights. The indoor bar area is stylish, with a touch of good ol’ glamour.

The grub: They have great platters on a menu of finger food from around the world. We had the Asian platter to share for £12.50 and loved it. They also do pizza, Thai dishes, BBQ ribs and tuna steaks for mains.

Behind the bar: A well-stocked bar supplies most spirits. There’s an interesting cocktail list and jugs for £21.50 – which we got eight glasses out of – as well as beer on tap for £3.80 a pint.

Bill please: A tad more costly than your local pub, but definitely value for money.

Verdict: Divine cocktails above the roof tops of Wimbledon.
