The West London Wildcats were formed in 1990 as a foundation club of the British Australian Rules Football League, now known as the AFL London division of AFL Britain. Often regarded as the largest and most successful Aussies Rules Club outside of Australia, the Wildcats go into season 2012 out to defend their 2011 AFL London Premiership and Conference Division Cups. Based in Barnes, the Wildcats field teams in all three divisions of the London competition, with a wide range of players – Australian, European and everything in between of varying standards. The Club welcomes new players all year round to come down and have a laugh, while keeping fit and playing competitive footy.
