The annual celebration of getting all dressed up in red – beard optional – and being jolly was its usual moderately inoffensive success as they spread around the city.
The revellers decked the streets in Santa costumes, starting in Leicester Square and pub crawling around.
While there were a small amount of arrests, most of costumed party-goers were nicer than they were naughty as they spread holiday cheer with singing, dancing and drinking – a couple of arrests were loosely connected with the event which is vehemently a “non-profit, non-political, non-religious celebratory parade of Christmas cheer, goodwill, and fun.”
Who can argue with that!?
Maybe the NYPD, based on these scenes, but it looks pretty awesome nonetheless…
