Turn up at Mexican joint Chipotle in fancy dress on October 31 and you’ll get a burrito for just £2 (valid between 4pm and closing). Proceeds from the ‘Boorito’ deal go to FoodCycle, tackling food poverty in the UK.

As if you needed an excuse to take a naughty trip to Hummingbird Bakery, the cupcake kings are offering a special Halloween box in which creepy little cakes are decorated with dastardly designs for £19.50.
Devilish drinks
Bermondsey bar Antico’s menu of ‘terrifying tipples’, available Oct 27, includes the ‘Blow My Skull Off’ cocktail (based on an 1850s classic containing poisonous berries, we’re told) and ‘trick or treat’ shooters. Drinks £7-£8.
