Ashton Altieri, a presenter on 9 News Denver, was trying to salute the success of sports presenter Aaron Matas’s former university basketball team, the Indiana Hoosiers.
But Altieri, who was braving chilly temperatures outside while presenting, stumbled over his words, giving his sentence a quite different bent altogether.
In one of the best Freudian slips in recent times to hit the internet, Altieri said: “Aaron, again congratulations on your big hooters … ah, Hoosiers win. Wow, that was a slip of the tongue.”
The three hosts he was relaying to in the studio collapsed in laughter as Altieri tried to justify his blunder, saying: “It’s chilly out here, it’s hard to talk sometimes.”
Matas sensibly decided that he might need to go to gym soon to work off his “hooters”.
