Getting There
Valencia is served from London by budget airlines Ryanair, easyJet and ClickAir as well as Iberia and others. Alternatively, you can reach Valencia by rail and coach from Madrid, Barcelona and other major centres around Spain.
Getting Around
You can walk between many of the sights although local buses have the city covered. A single fare is €1.20.
The Metro is also a great way to travel around the city and to and from the airport, with singles fares starting at €1.30.
Taxis are far cheaper in Valencia than elsewhere in Europe and the UK. A 10-minute trip into the city costs around €6-7.
Pick up a good map from a tourist information centre and you will be well on your way to navigating easily around Valencia.
