Huhne has served 62 days of an eight-month sentence after asking Pryce to take his speeding points.

Pryce was also released from jail this morning after being charged with perverting the course of justice.

Both will have to wear electronic tags and be under curfew while serving the remainder of their sentences on licence.

Pryce is reportedly working on a memoir of her experiences, and according to the Daily Mail, was neve seen without her Moleskine notebook at HMP East Sutton Park.

The couple were jailed after Huhne admitted passing on speeding points to his then wife in 2003. She told the story to a journalist earlier this year, to ‘nail’ him after he left her for another woman.

Huhne is currently fighting demands to pay £100,000 prosecution costs for entering a late guilty plea.
