Any kind of lights are, in effect, making things less dark, and therefore less scary.

Anywho, apparently Halloween lights are a thing stateside, and a man called Kevin Judd has earned something of a reputation as the master of holiday lighting displays.
A video of his house lights performing LMFAO’s misleadingly titled Party Rock Anthem was a viral sensation last year. Sadly, his neighbours put the kibosh on a similar display this year.
However a house in Virginia is taking up the baton, with its version of, what else, Psy’s Gangnam style.
