Footage released by the police in attempts to find the perpetrator shows the young man walking down the street when another young male, brandishing the shotgun, accosts him.
Within moments, the thug has lost the weapon and is fleeing off down the street.

The statement says that the would-be mugger then drove back past the young man and asked for his gun back. And you can guess what response he got. Sir, you have balls of steel – we salute you!
