Following a clip of Rick Stein, Martin, who meant to say ‘a delcious looking dish from Rick there’ announced live on air in the BBC studio ‘delicious looking dick from…erm’ and quickly realised his mistake as the studio guest began chuckling at the gaffe.
He bravely battled on with his script but then apologised for the mistake.
The BBC’s Saturday Kitchen has been running since 2002 and features top UK chefs demonstating dishes, clips of former BBC cooking shows, and the famous omlette challenge, in which guest chefs has to compete for the fast omlette cooking time.
