The images, collected last month are the largest, most detailed ‘whole disk’ pictures of the Earth ever captured.
The 121 megapixel resolution means a kilometre on Earth roughly translates to one pixel in the images.
The pictures were taken roughly every half an hour and were merged to create the video below.
