The Russian with the balls of steel had spent two years planning this particular jump, which is to honour the sixtieth anniversary of the first ascent of Everest by Kiwi Sir Edmund Hilary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay.
Valery and his team took four days of climbing on the famous tallest mountain in the world until they got to their jump spot.
