Shrek’s Adventure! London has put a call out for suitably Shrek-like 6ft ‘somethings’ to join the cast. Applicants must stand between 6ft 2in and 6ft 4in in bare feet, enjoy meeting new people and be happy to hug.
Helen Bull, general manager at the soon to open attraction said, “We are well underway with the recruitment for our fairytale cast with Princess Fiona, Esmeralda and Cinderella all ready for rehearsals, but Shrek has very specific requirements.
“It’s not enough just to fit the height guidelines, though that is critical, we also want people who will reflect his big hearted nature and sense of fun. The specially designed costume will add more height and the required girth!”
Those who fit the bill should search ‘Ogre’ online and apply by 7 June.
Successful candidates will entertain guests at the new immersive attraction that will bring to life a totally new Shrek story in ten fairytale shows, in iconic sets from the Shrek films plus a magical 4D bus ride, dramatic special effects and new DreamWorks animation.
