More South African artists have been added to the line-up for the World Cup 2010 Kickoff Celebration Concert at Orlando Stadium in Soweto, including electro stars, Goldfish.

After the outcry caused by Shakira being chosen to headline the gig, bosses have been falling over themselves to add more local talent.

It has now been announced that Goldfish, Lira, Loyiso Bala, Kwani Experience, Steadyrock, Tumi Molekane, and 340ml will perform in the concert on 10 June.

A  couple of weeks ago, show producers Control Room added jazz legend, Hugh Masekela, to the line-up which also includes Freshlyground, The Parlotones, Vusi Mahlasela and the Soweto Gospel Choir.

International stars including Shakira, John Legend, Alicia Keys and the Black Eyed Peas will also doing their thang at the kickoff concert.
