Luckily for an unnamed 25-year-old who owns Wunsy, the African Grey parrot, that’s exactly what happened.
The lady was walking around Sunny Hill Park in north London earlier on this month when a man grabbed her by the shoulders, and pushed her to the ground.
Wunsy, however, was having none of it – and aggressively flapped his wings and squawked at the attacker, scaring him away.
The brave parrot and his owner are unharmed, but police are still looking for the attacker, who was a white man aged 23 -25, with short blonde hair. He was wearing beige trousers and carried a black rucksack.
