X Factor contestants to sing The Beatles’ hits

X Factor contestants will be crooning hits by The Beatles this weekend.

The nine remaining contestants on the ITV talent show will sing classics including Let It Be, Yesterday, Hey Jude and All You Need is Love.

The news comes as iTunes revealed that Beatles’ tracks are finally available for download.

Rumour has it that Liverpudlian singer Rebecca Ferguson will sing Yesterday, Katie Waissel will tackle Help!, and Mary Byrne will take to the stage with Something.

All you Need is Love will be performed by boyband One Direction and Cher Lloyd will sing Imagine.

The Beatles theme is expected to lead to a rise up the charts for the Fab Four.
