Beady Eye and former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is reported to have been removed from Man City’s champions league match with Real Madrid at the Bernabeu after clashing with police.

Gallagher, a lifelong Blues fan, was at the game in Spain and watched his team take a one-nil lead in the 69th minute. Madrid would level the score ten mins later with a frantic final five minutes seeing a three-goal flurry as City threw away a 2-1 lead to lose 2-3.

Gallagher, who had been enjoying the game with friends, was vocal throughout and a Spanish cop is said to have grabbed Liam’s arm towards the end of the game as he became ever more ‘vocal’.

A Spanish newspaper even reported that Liam was forced to leave the game by the police, however the Manchester singer’s people deny this.

“Liam got ticked off. He was so hacked off when Madrid got back into the game he left with pals before the end,” a source has told The Sun.

“They left without escort,” Liam’s spokesman added.
