Norfolk radio’s most famous DJ is set to return with an hour-long Sky Atlantic special.
Steve Coogan’s character is set to move from the BBC to Sky – presumably because they wouldn’t smell his cheese!
Partridge will appear in two one-hour specials, with the channel also broadcasting his Midmorning Matters series too.
The first episode is titled Alan Partridge: Welcome to the Places of My Life, and will see the former chat show host regaling the audience with a tour of the places that have shaped his life.
The second episode will see Partridge interviewed in front of a book club.
“Alan has been off the TV for too long but he is more excited than me about his chance to have a second bit of the cherry,” Coogan said.
“Alan feels the second decade of the millennium is the right time.”
