An awkward landing for Germany's Stephan Feck meant an embarrassing exit from the Olympics yesterday.
Feck mistimed his dive following a slip from the diving board and landed clumsily - and probably painfully - on his back.
The crowds gasped as they feared injury, but fortunately Feck was unhurt.
"For me it was a big shock, I felt for him, he is a good friend. In his first Olympics it is something he won't want to remember." said fellow German diver Patrick Hausding.
