Zombies are set to overrun Melbourne this Halloween as part of a live action video game event.
Patient 0 will see groups of zombie fans take part in a live action game where teams of six, armed with ‘laser’ guns do battle with hordes of zombies in a building on the outskirts of Melbourne, Australia.
The event is the brainchild of IRL Shooter, a new events company dreamed up by friends David Leadbetter, Benjamin Powell and Drew Hobbs.
It is designed to be a cross between a video game, paintball and theatre, combining elements of each activity into a visceral whole. If the event is successful, IRL Shooter are planning to take the show on the road around the country.
