The 2014 Clipsal 500 Adelaide will be the 16th race to be held in Adelaide. First held in April 1999 as the Sensational Adelaide 500 it was staged as a motor racing event over 3 days until being extended to 4 days in 2003.
The 2013 event was attended by a massive crowd of 286,500 patrons over the four days with the first ever sell out on the Sunday of the event. The event also launched the Car of the Future rule book and introduced two new manufactures with Nissan and Erebus Motorsport joining the grid.
Along with the race itself there will be live music, drag racing, stunt motor-cross and plenty more entertainment.
