Electoral Commissioner Ed Killesteyn urged Aussies living and working in London to head Australia House to vote in person.
“Don’t leave voting to the last minute and don’t assume our overseas diplomatic missions are open on election day in Australia, even if they share a similar time zone.
“Go online now and plan your best voting option. Please also be aware that you may need to show identification when visiting diplomatic missions.”
Aussie living in London who wish to vote via post must apply as soon as possible for voting materials, which will be posted to them.
However, Australian voters may download a postal vote application here and email it to the Austrlian High Commission.
A total of 14,712,799 people are enrolled to vote in the 2013 federal election, Electoral Commissioner Ed Killesteyn said today. #ausvotes
