Getting There
To get to Avoriaz, fly into Geneva, Switzerland and drive across into France. Hotel and chalet companies also organise transfers.
There’s a carpark at the top of the mountain as well, where coaches and cars can be parked. Or catch the cable car up from Morzine at the bottom of the mountain.
Getting Around
In winter, it’s a ski in and ski out resort, so you’ll be doing plenty of trudging through the snow to get around. It’s advisable to take outdoor boots to wear when you are walking through the snow.
If walking in the snow doesn’t take your fancy, there are also horse drawn sleighs that will pick you up and drive you to your chalet.
