Some 25 years after we first heard it, the joke is just as funny.

But does it really need retelling? Not if the results are as tedious as Back From The Dead, which for the most part is a collection of note-for-note remakes of tracks from the original metal-parodying movie.

There are a few new songs scattered among the retreads, but even the most generous and easily-amused listener may struggle to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Cynical, and not in a good way.
