It has been reported that Albi Clark had been staying in backpacker accommodation in Darwin, and booked a tour to Litchfield.
The tour bus made an unscheduled stop in Batchelor and police were told that Clark took his luggage and walked off.
He has not been seen since.
Police in both Darwin and Batchelor have concerns for his welfare.
Australian Federal Police claim that 35,000 people are reported missing in Australia every year, 1,600 of them go missing long term or are never found. The stats highlight the dangers of wandering off in the Outback on your own.
