More than £450 off … Cape Town to Cairo
Bag a massive £479 off an epic 16-week overland trip from Cape Town to Cairo, taking in the very best of Africa along the way.
Oasis Overland, which has been running overland adventures for 14 years, is offering 20 per cent off its trip departing April 10 to TNT Travel Show-goers (excluding local payment).
The route takes in must-see sights including the Sossusvlei sand dunes of Namibia, national parks in Botswana and Tanzania, and the pyramids and the Sphinx in Egypt.

10% Off… Sailing Europe
Book a small group sailing adventure around Italy, Greece, Croatia or Turkey with Intrepid Travel and get 10 per cent off.
All you need to do is turn up at the Intrepid Travel stand at the show and book to set sail by August 31 this year.
It means you could spend four days sailing around Italy’s Amalfi Coast for just £396pp or eight days sailing around Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast for £698pp, including accommodation on the yacht, breakfasts and lunches, excursions and a skipper.

Save £249 on … Greek islands
Party around the Greek islands of Mykonos, Ios and Santorini with Contiki and enjoy a bank balance-friendly discount of £249 at the TNT Travel Show.
The Contiki folks are offering the generous saving on their 13-day Greek Island Hopper tour for departures leaving in 2013.
The laidback itinerary includes three nights at Contiki’s beach resort hotel in Mykonos, the most glam of the Cyclades islands, and plenty of time to sunbathe and swim around Santorini – famous for its sunsets – and take in the blue-domed chapels of Ios.

Expat Explore is offering loads of discounts at the TNT Travel Show, including a massive £550 off its 24-day Absolute Europe tour (bringing the total cost to £999pp) departing in May or June, which whisks you through 13 countries and includes stops in Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Prague, Venice, Berlin – all the essentials!
Plus, for every Europe tour you book with Expat Explore at the show, you’ll receive a free Bath and Stonehenge trip. Yup, you read that right – for free.
The cost of the Absolute Europe tour includes all breakfasts, eight dinners, coach travel, local taxes, tour leader and tour souvenir.
50% off … European festivals
Festival tour legends Busabout are offering up to 50 per cent off trips to selected European festivals.
Bear in mind that these guys were named ‘favourite festival tour operator’ at the TNT Golden Backpack Awards and you can appreciate that this is a seriously sweet deal.
Trips that have been slashed to half-price include Queen’s Day in Amsterdam departing April 28 (bringing the cost down to £150pp) and Easter in Paris departing March 29 (bringing the cost to £160pp).
The former is a bash you really won’t want to miss – officially, it’s a national holiday in honour of Queen Beatrix’s birthday, but is more an excuse for the locals to dress head-to-toe in orange and go bonkers partying in the streets.
Half-price … African safari
Overland specialists Absolute Africa are slashing selected safari tour prices by 50 per cent, including their 73-day Absolute Safari, which travels from Nairobi, Kenya, to Cape Town, South Africa, via some seriously stunning sights.
Take in all the highlights of east and southern Africa, including spotting the Big Five in Masai Mara and the Serengeti, and stare in wonder at the magnificent Victoria Falls, on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.
With the discount, it’ll only cost you £680pp (excluding local payment) to do this once-in-a-lifetime trip – down from £1360pp. Applies to departures on March 19, April 27 and May 22.

Save £200 on … sailing Croatia
Go sailing around Croatia in high season (ie, the sunniest) with a £200 discount, courtesy of Sail Croatia at the TNT Travel Show.
A seven-day round trip from Split is just £319pp, including breakfasts and lunches, if you book a trip departing on April 6, 13, 20 or 27 or May 4.
Your yacht will take you down the Dalmatian Coast and to islands including Hvar and ports including Dubrovnik.

50% off … China and Russia
Visit the Vodkatrain stand at the TNT Travel Show and bag a two-night break in Moscow, St Petersburg or Beijing with a 50 per cent discount, bringing the cost of your trip to as little as £47.50pp, including two nights’ accommodation and a ‘honcho’ to help you get settled in.
The latter is a local who’ll be available between 9am and 9pm to give you an introduction to the city, providing you with some crucial insider tips on how to make the most of your time.
All you have to do to get the discount is book a guaranteed departure of a 2013 Vodkatrain journey, which could be anything from taking on the infamous Trans-Mongolian railway trip to the historic Silk Road through Central Asia and China.
15% off … group bookings to Greece
Sailing specialists MedSailors are offering a number of TNT Travel Show only deals – you won’t see these discounts anywhere else, so you’d better get your butt down to the Business Design Centre to bag them.
All group bookings on trips that sail from Croatia to Greece departing June 8 or 15 will get 15 per cent off, cutting costs by £75pp on average.
That amounts to less than £300pp to cruise the waves for seven days, with all breakfasts and lunches included and BYO booze.
Group bookings on all other trips offered by MedSailors will get 10 per cent off if they’re for nine or more people. Make it a summer to remember.
