Getting there

Most visitors will fly into Belfast, although there is an Airport in Derry too. There are several flights every day from London to both of Belfast’s airports: Belfast International and George Best City Airport. If flying to Dublin, Belfast is around 2 hours journey by road or rail.

Getting around

Translink is responsible for public transport, including rail and bus. A day ticket for travelling within Belfast is around £3. Not all towns have rail links but where there isn’t one, there’ll be an express bus service. Belfast has black cabs as well as private taxis, but anywhere outside the city you will need to have a local taxi number at hand.

Renting a car is a good idea if you decide to travel around quite a bit. Driving is on the left hand side of the road.
