By George, he’s grown: Royal family celebrate Prince George’s first birthday

It’s even been mooted that the Queen will be attending – quite the guestlist for a first birthday!

However, it’s thought that Prince Charles and Camilla won’t be able to make it. Prince Philip may also be a no-no as he has other engagements elsewhere in London.

George’s birthday has already been the subject of controversy – Clarence House has ‘distanced’ itself from rumours that Carole Middleton, George’s maternal grandmother, threw a Peter Rabbit-themed party for the small prince last week in Berkshire.

We reckon they’re a bit jealous that Carole got in there first – plus, Peter Rabbit will always be très chic.
