Do you crave the rush of a team sport, but can’t find the time to commit to one? Now there’s a game that fits around your hectic lifestyle; Rush Hockey. The game aims to reinject the excitement and adrenaline back into the lives of hockey players through this contemporary format of the game, which was developed by the England Hockey Board.
Rush tackles a lack of spare time with shorter 40-minute games. It smashes through fitness worries with smaller pitches. It’s indoors, it’s outdoors, it’s five-a-side or four-a-side. Players can get all the team spirit, huddles and thrills whenever and wherever they want.
Rush Hockey is set to attract a new generation of player. Not only will it welcome all abilities but past and present, male and female hockey players will enjoy the thrill of the new format, in the way that thousands of recreational players have become hooked on 5-a-side football.
The London leagues will be held at: Kingsmeadow Fitness and Athletic, Kingston-upon-Thames; and Powerleague in Croydon and Barnet.
