Adele is on a role: first her sophomore album 21 smashed Madonna’s record (with Immaculate Collection) for spending the longest time at the number one position in the UK charts for a female solo artist. And now the album has notched up the most consecutive weeks at number one for a solo artist’s studio album in UK charts, ever.
