Fans of the star were shocked to see two photos of Kardashian’s face covered in her own blood uploaded to her Instagram, but later discovered the reason for it in the latest episode of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.
The much-hyped Hollywood procedure draws blood from the patient’s arm, spins the blood at high speeds to remove the platelets and then injects it back into the patient’s face with acupuncture-type needles.
“I love trying anything that makes you look and feel youthful,” Kardashian said on her television show, right before she had the procedure done.
But as the needles were inserted into her face, she screamed. “Oh my God! I will never get a facelift if it feels like that!”
The procedure is meant to rejuvenate the skin and is rumoured to cost around $1,000.
Lets just hope patients don’t end up looking as sour as Kristen Stewart.
