The teenage twit wrote to American Airlines: “Hello my name’s Ibrahim and I’m from Afghanistan. I’m part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I’m gonna do something really big bye.”
Surprisingly enough, American Airlines didn’t LOL at the prank; instead, they responded that her IP address and details would be sent to the FBI.
The girl, who was tweeting under the now-suspended username @QueenDemetriax_, sent a serried of panicked tweets shortly after, begging American Airlines to forgive her, and even palming off the offending tweet on a friend – telling the airline to arrest her friend instead.
She then told followers: “I’ve blocked the FBI, just in case.”
But her plan didn’t work, as Dutch police confirmed that the 14-year-old has been arrested and is undergoing questioning as the investigation into the tweet continues.
