Family Matters

The daughter of portrait artist Lucian Freud and great-granddaughter of Sigmund, Jane McAdam Freud presents this latest collection of her work exploring familial relationships, both her own and in wider culture. Among the works that comprise this exhibition are portrayals of her half sister, husband and children, a sculpture that combines both her face and Lucian’s to illustrate their facial similarity, and a large scale relief of her father, based on sketches McAdam Freud made of him at his deathbed.
