Fish and chips flavour ice-cream for World Cup

A tempting new ice-cream flavour has been created for the World Cup and it’s none other than that Pom staple, fish and chips.

Created exclusively as ‘World Cup ice-cream’ the desert will involve cod-flavoured ice cream coated in vanilla and pepper batter, with a side of potato ice-cream chips, all served with salt and vinegar and lemon wedges.

The patriotic pudding has been created by ice cream producer Frederick’s Dairies and will get its first airing this Friday at George’s Portobello Fish Bar in the West End.

The rest of us will have to wait until the start of the World Cup though, when the delicacy will go nationwide.

Hell yeah to that. With a side of mushy peas please.
