Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl stopped his London show last night to throw an aggressive fan out of the moshpit.

The incident happened last night during the free iTunes gig at camden's Roundhouse.

After spotting the man Grohl said, “You don't fucking fight at my show you asshole. Let me see him, who's fighting right now? It's that guy in the stripped shirt. Hey motherfucker look at me, get the fuck out of my show right now.”

He carried on, telling the aggressor exactly how it was: “I don't put up with that bullshit – you people came here to have a good time and that guy can fuck off".

The announcement was met with rapturous applause from the crowd which included Metallica, Seasick Steve and Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page.

The Foos tore the place up, teaming up with Brian May and Roger Taylor to play Queen’s hit Tie Your Mother Down.

At one point Grohl played his guitar on top of the bar at the back of the room.

The Foo Fighters are said to be top of Sonisphere organiser Stuart Galbraith's list of headliners for next year's festival.
