What’s Bookworm about?
It’s about the launch of a book club called Bookworms United, but it’s not real and is kind of just me talking about books and ordering my little sister (my assistant) about.
Who inspired you to take to the stage?
Roseanne Barr. And for some reason, the movie Four Weddings And A Funeral. I used to do an impression of Hugh Grant. On my own. In my room.
What’s the best comedy show you have seen?
Louis CK. Just. Love.
Where was your first show?
My first 10 minutes was a couple of Novembers ago. I forgot most of my lines so just used a tin of Vaseline as a prop. I lasted four minutes.
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen?
My sister’s dance show where one girl was wearing a giant candle costume that looked nothing like a giant candle. It kept wobbling as she was smiling and dancing with the whole audience laughing. Cruel but joyful.
