2010’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestants have apparently been revealed with former Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder jetting in to Australia for the jungle reality show.

Arriving at Brisbane airport last night, Ryder told reporters he wasn’t sure why he’d agreed to take part, declaring: “I’ve lost the plot!”

Disappointingly, one time drug-guzzling, groupie-shagging Madchester star Ryder promised that he would be keeping things clean on I’m a Celebrity…

“I’m going to be very nice. People will see a new side to me. I’m a 48-year-old family man now. I won’t be swearing and I’m going to miss my kids,” he said.

The Happy Mondays frontman also claimed to be more nervous about his fellow contestants than anything else he might find lurking in the jungle, admitting: “What am I frightened of? The people. I’m fine with snakes and spiders, but not the people.”

ITV have refused to confirm, or deny, the line-up rumours – but a source told The Sun: “We got our fingers burnt last year getting Katie Price in. She hogged the limelight and viewers got fed up with it.
Now we’re going back to basics with great celebs and all the jungle nastiness viewers love.

“We say this every year but this time we really mean it – this is the best ever line-up.”

So who are the I’m A Celebrity… 2010 contestants?

What’s in store for I’m a celebrity… 2010?

ITV is planning to immediately split the celebs into two camps – half of them will be sleeping rough, while the rest will stay in a luxury villa.

A show insider explained: “The idea is to cause some rows from day one when the rough sleepers work out how they’ve been had and the luxury lot get all smug.”

Bosses have also promised the most revolting bushtucker trials yet. Besides grubs and cockroaches, the delicacies will include a crocodile’s bum.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! begins on Sun 14 Nov at 9pm on ITV1.
