Known as London’s ‘fieriest food-feasting competition’, King of the Wing will be making its debut at Fu Manchu in Clapham on Friday 31st March.

30 brave challengers – men and women – will aim to eat as many of the super-spicy chicken wings as they can in just 8 minutes. The current record stands at 1.35kg – approximately 50 wings, set in 2015. The wings are covered in a special blend of chilli, tabasco and cayenne pepper and are sure to set a few mouths on fire. The prize for putting your taste-buds through this fiery hell is a £350 bar tab for the winner at either of Fu Manchu’s sister bars: Jam Tree Clapham or Jam Tree Chelsea. Second place receives a £200 bar tab and third place wins a £150 bar tab.
